Which line to pick for 4 GB
The Performance line, unless you want the extra storage. Mini is €6.95 a month on a 24 month term on both lines, so the only real difference is what runs underneath: an AMD Ryzen 9 with 50 GB Enterprise NVMe on the Performance line, or a shared server processor with 60 GB SSD on the Standard line.
| Location | Line | What runs underneath | Mini, 24 month term |
|---|---|---|---|
| Germany | Performance line | AMD Ryzen 9 5900X, 50 GB Enterprise NVMe | €6.95 |
| Poland (Warsaw) | Performance line | AMD Ryzen 9 7950X with DDR5, 50 GB Enterprise NVMe | €6.95 |
| Germany | Standard line | A shared server processor, 60 GB SSD | €6.95 |
| United Kingdom, US East, US Central, US West | Standard line | A shared server processor, 60 GB SSD | €6.95 plus a small monthly surcharge |
Neither Germany nor Poland costs extra. A server in Poland is ready within 6 hours by day and 12 hours at night, Dutch time; in Germany it builds itself within seconds.
Every term for 4 GB
| 4 GB Java | 24 months | 12 months | 6 months | Monthly |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Standard line | €6.95 | €6.95 | €6.95 | €7.95 |
| Performance line | €6.95 | €6.95 | €6.95 | €7.95 |
Mini is the only plan where both rows are the same. Amounts per month, no setup fee.
4 GB with Java and Bedrock players together
| 4 GB Crossplay | 24 months | 12 months | 6 months | Monthly |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Standard line | €8.95 | €8.95 | €8.95 | €9.95 |
Mini Crossplay puts friends on phones, tablets, consoles and the Windows edition in the same world as the Java players, on a Paper or Purpur server. How Crossplay works.
What fits in 4 GB
The panel starts Java with 3,328 MB for the world and keeps 768 MB for Java itself, so the server never grows past its limit and gets stopped without a crash report. For a vanilla world that is plenty of room: loaded chunks, mobs and a handful of players fit with space to spare.
| What you run | Does 4 GB fit |
|---|---|
| Vanilla, Paper or Purpur for 2 to 5 friends who play together | Yes, this is the size for it |
| A few plugins: a whitelist, homes, a map, anti grief | Yes |
| A plugin server with an economy, shops and minigames for 10 to 20 players | No, start on 8 GB |
| Fabric with performance mods, or a light modpack | Tight; the guide starts these on 8 GB |
| A large modpack | No, start on 12 GB |
Starting points, not limits. A world where everyone explores in a different direction loads more chunks than one where everybody builds in the same town. How much RAM a Minecraft server needs shows how to measure your own.
Mini between Camp and Starter
| Plan | Memory and vCPU | Standard line | Performance line |
|---|---|---|---|
| Camp | 2 GB, 1 vCPU | €3.95, 25 GB Enterprise NVMe | Not on this line |
| Mini | 4 GB, 2 vCPU | €6.95, 60 GB SSD | €6.95, 50 GB Enterprise NVMe |
| Starter | 8 GB, 2 vCPU | €10.95, 75 GB SSD | €13.95, 60 GB Enterprise NVMe |
Per month on a 24 month term. Camp is the cheapest way in, see cheap Minecraft hosting in Europe. From Starter up the free website is included; Mini does not have it.
What comes with a 4 GB server
