Who you are buying from
Lodehost is a trading name of Astroworld MC, a Minecraft host from the Netherlands, and it is partnered with Astroworld hosting. That means the brand you order from here and the company on your invoice are not the same word, which is worth knowing before you pay: the invoice, the VAT number and the terms all name the company, not the brand.

We are not affiliated with Mojang or Microsoft. Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang Synergies AB. We rent out servers for the game; we do not sell the game and we are not endorsed by its makers.
How billing works
A plan is a subscription. It renews on its own until you cancel it, and the price you see on the site is the price you pay, including VAT. VAT is worked out from the country you give us. If you order as a business inside the EU you can enter your VAT number during checkout, and the reverse charge is applied where it is allowed.
Payment is handled by our payment provider, so we never see or store your full card number. If a renewal fails we retry it for a few days and tell you. A server that stays unpaid is suspended and then removed, and your files stay downloadable for 7 days before that happens.
- Prices on the site include VAT, and your invoice shows the VAT separately.
- A price change for a future period is announced at least 30 days beforehand, and never applies to a period you have already paid for.
- You can cancel at any time from your panel. Cancel at least 3 days before the renewal date, otherwise the next period has already started.
- Hosting is not refundable. Cancelling stops the next payment, it does not return the current one.
- If you are a consumer in the EU you keep the rights the law gives you, including the 14 day right of withdrawal, on the terms described in the Terms.
Where you stand if something goes wrong
We can end the agreement with 30 days notice, and in that case you get back the part of the period you paid for and did not receive. We can suspend or remove a server that breaks the Acceptable Use Policy, that puts other customers or our machines at risk, or that is not paid for. Where it is reasonable we warn you first.
Our liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us for the service in the three months before the damage happened, on top of what the law does not let us limit. What we promise about delivery, availability and maintenance is written out on Service and support.
Dutch law applies, and a dispute we cannot work out together goes to the competent court in the Netherlands. As a consumer you can also go to the court of the country you live in, and you can use the European online dispute resolution platform.
Your data and your files
Your server runs on our machines in Europe and you manage it yourself in your browser. We do not read your files to see what you are building. We do look when you ask us for help, when a machine is in trouble, or when we have a concrete reason to think something breaks the rules or the law.
