What we promise, and what happens when something breaks

Most hosts put a big number on this page and nothing behind it. We would rather write down what we actually do. That means naming the delivery times we hold ourselves to, being plain about the fact that we do not promise an uptime percentage, and saying exactly what happens on the day your server is down and you want a human being.

Delivery

Most servers are set up automatically and are ready within minutes of payment. Nobody types anything by hand, and you get the panel and the address straight away.

WhereWhat you can expectThe outside limit
GermanyReady within minutes, automatically18 hours after payment
Poland (Warsaw)Within 6 hours by day, within 12 hours at night, Dutch time18 hours after payment

The 18 hours is the limit we hold ourselves to when an order needs a person, for example when a machine has to be brought into service first. It is not the normal wait.

Availability and maintenance

We do our best to keep your server up and reachable, and we work on problems as soon as we see them. We sometimes have to restart a machine or move a server for maintenance. We keep that as short as we can and outside busy hours where we can.

Things outside our hands can still take a server offline: an attack on the network, a failure at a data centre, or a problem in the game itself. We cannot promise that never happens, so we do not.

We do not publish an uptime percentage

Not because it would look bad, but because we are not going to put a number on the site that we have not measured ourselves. If you want to know how a server behaves before you commit, ask us and run one for a month.

When your server is down

  1. Open the console in your panel. Nine times out of ten the last lines before it stopped say what happened, and reading a crash report walks through them.
  2. If a plugin or a mod broke it, take it out or roll back to the backup from before you added it. Restoring is a button in the panel and it takes minutes.
  3. If the console says nothing useful, open a ticket from your panel. That way we see your server straight away and you do not have to explain which one it is.
  4. Not a customer yet, or locked out of your account? Use the form on contact. A person reads it.

A backup is the fastest fix for almost everything that goes wrong inside the server: a griefed spawn, a mod that eats the world, a config change that will not start. It is a safety net, not a promise that nothing can ever go wrong, so keep a copy of your own of anything you would hate to lose.

Support hours

Our team answers every day, Monday to Sunday, from 07:45 to 23:00 Dutch time (CET/CEST). A message sent outside those hours is picked up when we start again at 07:45.

What this page does not promise

There are no service credits here and no money back for downtime. Hosting is not refundable: cancelling stops the next payment, it does not return the current one. If you are a consumer in the EU you keep the rights the law gives you, and nothing here takes a statutory right away from you.

Our liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us for the service in the three months before the damage happened, on top of what the law does not let us limit. The full text is in the Terms, and the company behind it is on the company.

Suspension and ending an agreement

  • You can cancel at any time from your panel. Cancel at least 3 days before the renewal date, otherwise the next period has already started.
  • We can suspend or remove a server that breaks the Acceptable Use Policy, that puts other customers or our machines at risk, or that is not paid for. Where it is reasonable we warn you first.
  • We can end an agreement with 30 days notice, and then you get back the part of the period you paid for and did not receive.
  • After a cancellation or an unpaid renewal your files stay downloadable for 7 days.

FAQ

Questions about service and support

Do you guarantee an uptime percentage?

No. We do our best, we work on problems as soon as we see them, and we do not put a number on the site that we have not measured ourselves.

How fast is my server ready?

In Germany within minutes of payment, set up automatically. In Poland within 6 hours by day and 12 hours at night, Dutch time. The outside limit we hold ourselves to is 18 hours after payment.

How do I reach a person?

As a customer, open a ticket from your panel: we see your server straight away. Otherwise use the form on the contact page. A person reads it.

Do I get money back for downtime?

No. Hosting is not refundable and there are no service credits. Your statutory rights as a consumer in the EU stay as they are.

What about maintenance?

We sometimes have to restart a machine or move a server. We keep that as short as we can and outside busy hours where we can, and a move takes your world, your plugins and your settings with it.

My server keeps crashing. What now?

Read the last lines in the console, roll back to the backup from before the change, and if that does not settle it open a ticket from your panel with what the console said.

Know what you are promised.

The machines behind the promise are on the network, and the paperwork is on the company.
