The network your server runs on

A Minecraft server is only as good as the machine and the route to it. This page is the one place where both are written down: which locations you can pick, what stands in each of them, what the difference between the two lines actually is, and what happens in front of your address before a single packet reaches your world.

Where your server can stand

You choose the location while you order, and both locations are included in the plan price. There is no surcharge for picking one over the other.

LocationWhat runs thereWhen it is ready
GermanyBoth lines: the Standard line on shared cores with SSD, the Performance line on an AMD Ryzen 9 5900X with Enterprise NVMeWithin minutes of payment, set up automatically
Poland (Warsaw)The Performance line only, on an AMD Ryzen 9 7950X with DDR5 memory and Enterprise NVMeWithin 6 hours by day and 12 hours at night, Dutch time

Warsaw does not carry the plans that exist only on the Standard line, so Camp and Mini Crossplay are Germany only.

Warsaw sits closer to players in Poland and the countries around it, and it costs the same as Germany. The location page for each one is Minecraft hosting in Germany and Minecraft hosting in Poland.

Two lines, one difference that matters

Minecraft runs the world on a single thread. That is why the processor, and not the number of cores, decides whether your server finishes its tick in time. The two lines are the same panel, the same backups and the same filtering; what changes is the machine underneath.

What stands in front of your address

Every plan gets DDoS filtering in front of its address, on every size, as standard. It is not an add on at checkout and it is not a line on your invoice. Attacks are filtered at the network level and at the game level, so traffic that is not a player trying to join does not reach your server.

Every server also comes with a free subdomain, so your players type a name instead of numbers, and you can point a domain you already own at your server instead. How that works is on your own server address.

We do not hand out shell access

You manage everything through the panel in your browser: console, files, backups, players, plugins and modpacks. The machine underneath is shared with other customers and their servers, so nobody gets a login to it.

Java, Bedrock and both at once

Java plans run the PC edition. Crossplay plans let players on phone, tablet and console join the same world through a second door on the same server, so you run one world instead of two. The details are on Crossplay.

FAQ

Questions about the network

Can I choose where my server stands?

Yes, while you order. Germany and Poland (Warsaw) are both included in the plan price, with no surcharge for either.

Which location is faster for my players?

The one closest to them. Warsaw is the better choice for players in Poland and the countries around it; Germany sits central for the rest of Europe. The machine in Warsaw is the newer one.

Can I move my server to the other location later?

Ask us through the contact page or a ticket in your panel. A move takes your world, your plugins and your settings with it.

Is DDoS filtering extra?

No. It sits in front of every address on every plan, from the smallest to the largest, and it is never charged for.

Do you publish which hardware you buy?

We name the processor and the storage type, because those are what your server actually runs on. Beyond that we do not publish our machine list.

Do I get an IP address of my own?

Your server gets its own address with a free subdomain, and you can point your own domain at it. Players type a name, never a bare number.

Pick the machine, then the size.

The lines side by side, with what each one holds, are on the Performance line. Not sure which fits your pack? Ask us.
