Camp · 2 GB
Camp is the smallest server on Lodehost: 2 GB of memory for a vanilla world you share with a few friends or with your family. It stays online when you log off, so nobody has to wait for the person who started the world to switch their computer on.
Camp gives you 2 GB of memory, 1 vCPU and 25 GB of disk.
What that carries on Camp
Survival for a small group that plays in the evenings and at weekends. The world is waiting whenever someone joins, and nobody has to leave a laptop running to host it.
Parents and children building on the same map, each from their own device. A quiet family world rarely asks more of a server than Camp gives it.
A flat creative world to plan a build, or a copy of your survival map to test something before doing it for real. Worlds with few players and little going on are light work for a server.
What it will not carry on Camp
Every extra player, plugin or add-on takes a share of the same 2 GB. Once the group grows or the wish list gets longer, a plan with more memory gives the world room to breathe.
Modded Minecraft loads hundreds of extra blocks and items before anyone joins. On Lodehost a small modpack starts at Starter, with 8 GB.

Germany
In Germany, Mini runs on the AMD Ryzen 9 5900X with 50 GB Enterprise NVMe, and Camp itself does not. The Mini address has Germany already selected and lists the full specification of its size.
One size up · 4 GB
Twice the memory, for a busier world or a few plugins on top.
One size up doubles the memory to 4 GB. On Bedrock that size is Pocket, with 2 vCPU, and it costs €3.00 more a month than Camp at €4.95; on Java it is Mini.
Java worlds take more room on disk; Bedrock stores its world far more compactly, so the 25 GB that comes with Camp carries years of a family world, and the 25 GB in Germany does the same.
Give the server a name you will recognise and choose the location closest to where your friends play. After the payment the server is built on its own, and the panel shows the address to share with everyone.
Share the address only with the people you want on the world. On a small private world that is usually all the moderation it needs, and it takes less time than explaining the rules to someone who wandered in by accident.
The console in the panel shows who joins and when, which is handy on the first evening when everyone is trying the address. Commands typed there run on the server straight away, without anyone having to be in the game.
Let the daily backups run for a week before changing anything big. If the world grows, changing to a bigger plan of the same edition keeps the world, the address and the settings exactly as they are.
Want the full breakdown of this Camp plan, with the price on every term and what runs comfortably on it? The price on every term is in the order card above, and what runs comfortably on it is in the two lists at the top of this block. The Bedrock hosting page is about Bedrock players joining one world together with PC players. Not sure about the size, or whether Camp at 2 GB is the one? The RAM guide works it out in one sentence: memory decides how many players and how many mods fit, so the answer comes from your player count and your modpack.

Everything below is about this order and about Camp in particular. It is here because a price and four fields do not answer the questions people actually ask us in the last minute before they pay:
Not this size after all? Back to the plans. Ready to order but the first field is still empty? Name your server first.

The location you pick is not only about distance. It decides which machine your world lands on, so the specification above changes with it.
Choose the place most of your players are nearest to. The distance between them and the server is most of the delay they notice, so it matters more than where you live yourself.
Camp runs on a shared server processor here, with 25 GB of disk. Mini runs on a machine of our own here: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X with 50 GB Enterprise NVMe.
Minecraft works through its whole world on a single thread twenty times a second, so a core that gets further inside those fifty milliseconds does more for your server than an extra core would. The disk matters for the same reason: loading chunks and saving the world both happen inside that same tick. A second core still earns its keep, because the network traffic of every player and plugins that do their work off the main thread run beside the tick instead of inside it, while the tick itself stays on one core. Those twenty ticks a second are not a number we invented; they are the clock Minecraft itself runs on.
Germany costs nothing on top of the plan price, and it is the location we hand over fastest.
Camp itself is not built on the AMD Ryzen 9 5900X, but Mini, one size up, is. That size has an address of its own with Germany chosen, and its full specification is on it: the full specification of the Mini plan.
In these regions Camp comes with 25 GB of disk. It is the right choice for a vanilla world, a plugin server or a modpack that is not at the heavy end, and it is the only way to sit close to players who do not live near Germany. The surcharge per region is in the selector, next to the name of each location. Whichever of them you pick, the machine stands in that region itself, and your players connect to it there rather than by way of Germany.
The order card above shows the processor and the storage for whichever location you select.
The Performance line on this page can also stand in Warsaw, on our newest machine: the AMD Ryzen 9 7950X with DDR5 RAM, for the same price as the Performance line in Germany. Pick Poland (Warsaw) under Server location to get it. That machine is added when the first order for Warsaw comes in, so delivery there is within 6 hours during the day and within 12 hours at night instead of within the hour. In Germany the Performance line keeps running on the AMD Ryzen 9 5900X.

Want more speed? Upgrade this size to the AMD Ryzen 9 5900X in Germany: faster cores, your own NVMe slice and a faster port. That address opens on Mini, one size up, with Germany and the AMD Ryzen 9 5900X chosen from the start. Camp itself is not built on that processor, so picking Germany at this address keeps it on a shared server processor instead, without an NVMe slice of its own. Open the full specification of the Mini plan.
For a few friends in one country, the nearest location is nearly always the right one, and on a small world it is the choice they notice most.

You get a server that is already installed and an address your friends can type, with no port number behind it. That address is the one thing you share with the people who join.
Most orders are handed over instantly. If a machine has to be prepared first, it is within the hour during the day and within twelve hours at night, and you can watch it happen in your panel instead of waiting for an email.
That goes for Germany. In the other locations, United Kingdom, US (East), US (Central) and US (West), delivery takes up to 48 hours, and the order summary above shows the time for the location you pick. In Poland (Warsaw), delivery is within 6 hours during the day and within 12 hours at night.
Nothing about Camp is set up by hand, so the 2 GB and the 1 vCPU are there from the first minute. The whole setup runs by itself after the payment: what you pick at the top of this page is set before the server is handed over, so there is nothing about the order left for you to set afterwards.
A Camp world is small, so the first start is short and the server is ready to join almost as soon as the panel opens.

A backup is made for you every night, on this plan and on every other one, and that costs nothing extra. You keep up to ten of them, as many as fit the storage that comes with Camp, and you restore one yourself with a single click.
The one that rolls off the end is not thrown away: it waits another seven days in a bin, so a mistake you only notice on Tuesday is still fixable.
You can also download a backup to your own computer whenever you like, and keep it for as long as you want after you stop paying us.
On a world this size each backup is small, which makes it easy to download one to your own computer every now and then.

Staff get their own login with permissions you choose per person, for up to fifteen people, so nobody needs your password. Whitelist, bans and operators have their own place in the panel, which saves typing commands. Your account can use two step login, and incoming attacks are filtered before they reach the network.
Camp has the same panel as every larger plan: the live console, the file manager and the daily backups are there from the first evening.

€4.95a month for Camp on the monthly term, with Germany as the location.
Camp is €4.95 a month in Germany, and that is the amount on your invoice. Before you pay, check that the order summary above names Camp as well as that amount, and ask us when the card above shows another plan.
The four terms in the field above are the same server with the same resources; what differs is how often it is collected, and on the yearly term each month costs €4.45 instead of €4.95.
€4.95 leaves your account on the day you order and again on that date every month after it, with an invoice for each payment in your account. Cancel from your panel before the next renewal and it simply stops; there is no fee for leaving and nobody to phone.
€53.40 in one go, and then nothing for twelve months. That is twelve times €4.45: a 10 percent discount on the monthly price of €4.95, and still not a longer contract in disguise. You can move to monthly at the next renewal, and a world you built on a yearly term stays yours either way. On that term the whole amount leaves your account once a year.
The same server can also be paid for six or twenty-four months at once, like on the yearly term: €28.50 for six months, which is €4.75 a month, or €94.80 for twenty-four months, which is €3.95 a month. The term renews at the same amount, and you can move to a shorter term at the next renewal.
Due today in the order summary is what is charged when you continue, and the note under Billing term says how the plan renews. You can cancel at any time without a cancellation fee. Cancel at least three days before the renewal date and nothing more is charged; the server keeps running until the end of the period you paid for, and your files stay available for seven days after that.
Camp has the lowest monthly price for a server of your own on Lodehost, and it comes with the same panel and backups as the largest plan.

The server is put on your account, and your invoices, your backups and your console all sit behind that same login. So we need to know who you are before the payment; otherwise there is a paid server with no owner and a panel you cannot reach.
Signing in takes one screen, and you come straight back here with these choices still filled in. No account yet? You create one on that screen, before the payment, and the server arrives in that account.
The payment runs on the page of our payment provider and not on ours, so your card details never touch our servers. You will see Camp on the summary there with the term you picked, and after it you land in your panel with the server already building.
If something goes wrong at that step, nothing is charged and you can come back to this page.

The name of the server is a field above and a field in your panel, so nothing depends on what you type today.
You can move up a size when your world outgrows 2 GB, and your world, your plugins and your settings come along, so a world shared by the same friends for years moves up in one piece. Upgrading changes the size and the price: from then on the higher price of that size is what you pay. You can also switch the term you bought at the next renewal, and the sizes we offer are side by side on the plans page.
What you cannot change afterwards is the location, because that is where the machine your world sits on stands, so pick the region your players are in.
Ask us first if you are not sure which one that is, and ask us here about anything that is not on this page.
